For so many Long Islanders, a night at POSH was more than just a night out. It was part of an era, and nearly 20 years later, we think it’s time to do it again.
On Friday, October 16, The Garden City Hotel is reopening the doors to POSH for one night only.

Maybe you celebrated a birthday at POSH. Maybe it was your favorite place to meet friends on the weekend. Maybe you remember exactly what you wore, what you drank and which song could always get you onto the dance floor.
Whatever your POSH story may be, October 16 is your chance to make another one.
From 8 PM to midnight, we’re bringing back the energy of one of Long Island’s most memorable nightlife destinations for an evening filled with music, cocktails, dancing and plenty of nostalgia.
The evening includes a four-hour open bar, DJ and dancing, followed by late-night bites before you head home.
And, of course, this is POSH—so dress accordingly. The attire for the evening is Posh Nightlife Chic: elevated, stylish and ready for a great night out.
A Long Island Nightlife Tradition
POSH opened at The Garden City Hotel in 2003, but the history of nightlife within this iconic space goes back even further.
Over the years, generations of Long Islanders danced and celebrated here as the nightclub evolved from the Hunt Room to Club G, Dallenger, Blu and ultimately POSH Ultra Lounge.
Each had its own era, its own crowd, and its own memories.
On October 16, those generations come together again.
