Oktoberfest in Garden City

September 09, 2019

The tradition of Oktoberfest can be traced back to 1810, when King Ludwig I married Princess Therese and celebrated with a large party that included all of the citizens of Munich. Since then, Oktoberfest has grown larger in Germany, and it is also one of the most popular annual events in the United States. In fact, the Garden City Hotel hosts an extremely well-liked Oktoberfest every year. This year’s celebration will take place on September 29 from 2-11PM. All day long you will be treated to delicious Bavarian treats by Chef David Burke and the talented GCH Culinary Team, including pretzels, cheddar bratwursts, schnitzel skewers, plenty of mustards and other condiments for dipping, and, of course, German chocolate cake pops. Additionally, you will be delighted by the wide variety of beers available including Wasteiner, Sam Adams Oktoberfest, Brooklyn Oktoberfest, Hofbrau Munchen, and Weinstephan. There will even be contests and games throughout the festivities. Get your tickets fast for this incredible Oktoberfest experience.
