has been voted by Long Island Business News (www.libn.com) readers as the region’s number one hotel and number one conference/meeting facility in the business paper’s first reader poll, 2007 Best of Long Island Business. A total of 14,474 votes from business leaders and decision-makers across Long Island were cast on-line for a spectrum of regional companies across 77 categories.
Voted the Best Hotel in the region, Long Island Business News notes, “The hotel has hosted prominent guests such as the Vanderbilts, Astors and Belmonts, John F. Kennedy and his wife Jaqueline, New York State Senator Hillary Clinton and Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher.”
