As Executive Chef here at The Garden City Hotel, it is my pleasure to lead our acclaimed culinary team and provide guests with a distinctive blend of flavorful and innovative cuisine in our award-winning restaurant REIN.

I have been blessed with the opportunity to cook all over the world, even for the Queen of England and the Duke of Edinburgh. However, as a native of the South Shore of Long Island, nothing means more to me than having the opportunity to come back home and serve the guests at this wonderful hotel.

At REIN, we focus on incorporating the freshest seasonal ingredients and regional flavors to create a menu of innovative New American cuisine. I believe in working closely with area purveyors to ensure the best local resources are utilized.

I also believe that our guests deserve to have a dining experience that not only is memorable for the great food, but for the great service and atmosphere as well. We work hard to provide a level of excellence that will make it an easy choice to come back again and again.

I invite you to join us and sample some of my personal favorite dishes prepared fresh for you, such as Pan Fried Rainbow Trout accompanied by Saffron Potatoes, Fine Beans, Candied Garlic and Brown Butter, or Five Spice Duck Breast with Braised Red Cabbage and Chestnut Puree in Star Anise and Sage Jus. There is something to satisfy anyone’s palate here at REIN and we’ll continue to adapt our menu seasonally and offer new choices for our guests to enjoy.

As Director of Catering at this award-winning hotel, it is my job to help ensure the many weddings, engagement parties, bridal showers and other distinctive events we host here are executed in such a way as to provide happy memories that will last a lifetime.

My team of professional event managers is dedicated to seeing that every detail of your special occasion is seamlessly cared for from start to finish.

I have the honor of helping our guests enjoy the abundant offerings here at The Garden City Hotel.
