Pet Policy
Welcome to the Garden City Hotel. We are delighted to have
you and your pet as our guest. To ensure a comfortable stay
for yourself and fellow guests, we would appreciate you observing the following guidelines:
- The hotel is prepared to accommodate your pet in the room;
provided that your pet is less than 50 pounds, fully trained,
appropriately restrained by you, and complies with local legislation requirements.
- Your pet must be kept on a leash when it is in the Hotel or on Hotel property unless it is in your room.
- Please do not leave your pet unattended. With advance notice, a pet sitter may be arranged though the Concierge at extension 24.
- We regret that pets are not allowed in any food and beverage outlets, Health Club or Pool areas of the hotel. The exclusion does not apply to guide dogs.
- You are responsible for cleaning up after your pet on Hotel property and in the neighborhood.
- Any disturbances, such as barking, must be curtailed to ensure other guests are not inconvenienced. Any disturbance to other guests will require that we ask you and your pet to leave the hotel.
- Please contact the Housekeeping Department to arrange a convenient time for servicing your room, as no attempt will be made to enter if there is a pet in the room unless the owner is present. The guest (pet owner) should be in the room when it is cleaned.
- There is a $125.00 per day pet fee for pets that are under 50 lbs.. This fee will automatically be charged to your room.
